TGRS co-hosted the National Garden Railway Convention held in Chandler, AZ in 2008. In the February, 2008 edition of Garden Railways Magazine (on pages 78 & 79) there is an article written by Dick Izen describing the convention. The article also contains photographs from several of the layouts that were open. The cover story of the next issue of the magazine (April 2008) is about Gary & Peggy Martin's layout. This story fills 8 pages and includes many photographs. Unfortunately, neither of these articles are available online.
