The Rails in the Garden Tour is a self-guided tour of nine of our members's outdoor train layouts. Go at your own pace, stay as long as your want, come back again the next day if you wish. Tickets include maps and directions to each railroad. Many railways on the tour have been expanded or have added features/scenes for 2014. This year's layouts are located primarily on the east side of Tucson.

Each garden railroad displays a unique approach to the integration of gardening and model railroading. The diversity of the railroads and gardens promises to provide another interesting tour.

Funds raised by tour ticket sales help fund the Society's projects at the Tucson Children's Museum, the Tucson Botanical Garden, the Diamond Children's Center, the Rodeo Parade Museum and our modular displays at the Veteran's Administration Hospital, the Pima County Fair and various other locations throughout the year.
